Below are answers to some of the more frequently asked questions about H.O.P.E. and the services we offer.

Who can come to H.O.P.E. ?

H.O.P.E. is designed to help any individual, family member or other person directly affected by cancer.

Are your volunteers trained ?

Yes! H.O.P.E. provides its volunteers with training manuals and offers periodic informal training sessions in order to introduce and educate them about the dynamics of cancer care and the listening skills needed to facilitate helping cancer patients and their families.

Does it cost money to receive H.O.P.E.'s services ?

No. All services provided by H.O.P.E. are free of charge. H.O.P.E. is a non-profit organization designed to support the needs of anyone living with cancer.

Is medical assistance or advice available as part of H.O.P.E.'s services?

No. H.O.P.E. does not have a medical staff. All medical treatment and related advice is up to the individual. H.O.P.E. does, however, provide cancer related literature to members for their reference.
